Almanor Basin Food Pantry is a 501(c)3 organization serving our community on a needs basis. Community Suppers

Join us for the Food Pantry’s wildly popular donation-based Community Suppers, serving the Lake Almanor area from Fall through Spring at Veterans Memorial Hall! These heartwarming dinners bring the entire town of Chester together to enjoy amazing, home-cooked meals while raising thousands of dollars annually to support the Food Pantry’s mission to fight hunger. At Almanor Basin Food Pantry, getting help is simple and designed to be as low-stress as possible.To receive food, you first need to enroll for distribution by completing a short online formWe serve households whose income matches the same guidance as the CalFresh (SNAP) program. In California, that means your household’s gross income—before taxes and deductions—must fall at or below:
